The Indonesian Food Technology Experts Association (PATPI) Bengkulu Branch held a meeting as well as the election of new administrators on Friday, August 22, 2025. The event, which was held in the Dean’s Room of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Bengkulu, was attended by the management of PATPI Bengkulu Branch and participants who will register to become new members of PATPI.<\/p>\n\n\n

The activity was opened and led by the Chairman of PATPI Bengkulu Branch for the 2021-2025 period, Dr. Ir. Budiyanto, M.Sc.<\/strong> In his remarks, he expressed his appreciation for the performance of the previous management and emphasized the importance of organizational regeneration to strengthen PATPI’s contribution in the development of food science and technology in Bengkulu.<\/p>\n\n\n

The election of new administrators is carried out by deliberation. As a result, the forum agreed to appoint Dr. Zulman Efendi, S.T.P., M.Sc.<\/strong>, lecturerof the Department of Agricultural Technology, University of Bengkulu, as Chairman of PATPI Bengkulu Branch for the 2025\u20132029 period. The flag handover procession is a sign of the handover of trust from the old management to the new chairman.<\/p>\n

After the determination, Dr. Zulman Efendi delivered his remarks as the elected Chairman of PATPI Bengkulu Branch. He emphasized his commitment to make PATPI a forum for collaboration between academics, researchers, and practitioners in advancing food technology that is beneficial to the community and regional development.<\/p>\n\n\n

The series of events continued with an introduction session for all participants who attended, thereby fostering familiarity and strengthening the network between members.
