Lecturer of the Agricultural Industrial Technology Study Program, Department of Agricultural Technology, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Bengkulu, Selly Ratna Sari, S.Pi., M.Si., again made a proud achievement by winning the award as the Best Lecturer I in the Community Change Agent Category at the 44th Anniversary Rector Award event of the University of Bengkulu. This award is a form of appreciation for his dedication and real contribution in the field of community service.<\/p>\n

The Community Change Agent category <\/em>is given to lecturers who are considered active in becoming agents of change through innovation, community empowerment, and strengthening relationships between universities and the wider community. This award emphasizes the importance of the role of lecturers not only as educators in the classroom, but also as drivers of social change that are able to have a real impact in society.<\/p>\n\n\n

Selly Ratna Sari is known to be active in various community service activities, especially in empowering MSMEs, entrepreneurship training, strengthening the capacity of village communities, and assisting in processing agricultural technology-based products. The various programs carried out focus on improving community skills in order to be able to create economic added value independently and sustainably.<\/p>\n

Through an applicable and community-based approach, he has succeeded in presenting various innovations that support the improvement of people’s welfare, especially in the Bengkulu area. The assistance provided is not only limited to training, but also includes the process of strengthening product branding, business development, and marketing strategies that are relevant to the needs of the community today.<\/p>\n

This achievement is a source of pride for the Agricultural Industrial Technology Study Program and the Department of Agricultural Technology, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Bengkulu. This achievement shows that the academic community of the Department of Agricultural Technology continues to actively contribute to supporting regional development through the application of science and innovation that has a direct impact on society.<\/p>\n

The award at the 44th Anniversary of the University of Bengkulu is expected to be a motivation for other lecturers to continue to innovate and strengthen the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, especially in the field of community service.
