History<\/strong><\/p>\n

Laboratory of Fisheries was established in 2006 under Marine Science Study Program, Faculty of Agriculture, based on Decree Number 1755\/J30\/HK2006. It consists of the Head of the Laboratory and two laboratory assistants working in the laboratory as education and research providers for all marine science courses. Our services include analysis of water quality, microplastic, and plankton.<\/p>\n

Missions<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. To provide a service facility for students, the academic community, and other customers to analyse water quality and fishery products.<\/li>\n
  2. To provide comprehensive support to laboratories in establishing, improving, and demonstrating their reliability as well as competence to the customers.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Vision<\/strong><\/p>\n

    In 2023, the laboratory will be accredited and provide high-quality academic, research, and community service.<\/p>\n

    Laboratory of Fisheries continually seeks to improve the quality of guidance, support, and services provided to all students, researchers and other customers. Laboratory of Fisheries is committed to providing the most competent quality system for all customers for continuous mutual improvement.<\/p>\n

    Laboratory Participations<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Laboratory of Fisheries had participated either directly or through its experts in the implementation of many projects, as summarised below:<\/p>\n

    1. Participated in implementing the Agreement Programme \u201cBuilding the capacity and Management of the small outermost island (Enggano Island ) in Bengkulu\u201d. Project Code: 00\/LAB\/2022<\/li>\n
    2. Research attachment program in AKUATROP Malaysia.<\/li>\n
    3. Participated in implementing the Agreement Programme with UNSRI (Accredited laboratory).<\/li>\n
    4. Providing technical assistance for developing water analysis laboratory towards accreditation according to ISO\/IEC 17025 – 2017.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
