However, little is known about the mealybug (<span class=\"tn\" data-obkms-id=\"AC25B037-FC0E-4AC4-91A4-3B31AA05A2F2\" data-taxon-parsed-name=\"Hemiptera\"><span class=\"order\">Hemiptera<\/span><\/span>,&nbsp;<span class=\"tn\" data-obkms-id=\"7AAE41BB-5ABC-46B8-8666-030ADEC75603\" data-taxon-parsed-name=\"Coccomorpha\"><span class=\"above-genus\">Coccomorpha<\/span><\/span>,&nbsp;<span class=\"tn\" data-obkms-id=\"5FE301CE-5450-4393-800D-DBCFBD9A3146\" data-taxon-parsed-name=\"Pseudococcidae\"><span class=\"family\">Pseudococcidae<\/span><\/span>) fauna associated with them. A series of surveys of mealybugs found on&nbsp;<span class=\"tn\" data-obkms-id=\"9DA5343B-B8D3-421E-8C96-282A8FEBC957\" data-taxon-parsed-name=\"Loranthaceae\"><span class=\"family\">Loranthaceae<\/span><\/span>, a semi-parasitic plant family, was conducted in several places in Bengkulu Province, southern Sumatra, Indonesia. In the study, 55 mealybug specimens were collected, consisting of eight species belonging to five genera, namely&nbsp;<i><span class=\"tn\" data-obkms-id=\"05698591-1641-4D8A-BDBD-D99BFF23954D\" data-taxon-parsed-name=\"Chorizococcus\"><span class=\"genus\">Chorizococcus<\/span><\/span><\/i>&nbsp;McKenzie (1 species),&nbsp;<i><span class=\"tn\" data-obkms-id=\"CC6998A2-EC92-474C-B458-78755C68B370\" data-taxon-parsed-name=\"Dysmicoccus\"><span class=\"genus\">Dysmicoccus<\/span><\/span><\/i>&nbsp;Ferris (2 species),&nbsp;<i><span class=\"tn\" data-obkms-id=\"94368102-5F02-435A-86F2-68DEC183E429\" data-taxon-parsed-name=\"Ferrisia\"><span class=\"genus\">Ferrisia<\/span><\/span><\/i>&nbsp;Fullaway (1 species),&nbsp;<i><span class=\"tn\" data-obkms-id=\"45CB9ABB-EE45-468A-8CC7-818088CD9C48\" data-taxon-parsed-name=\"Planococcus\"><span class=\"genus\">Planococcus<\/span><\/span><\/i>&nbsp;Ferris (3 species) and&nbsp;<i><span class=\"tn\" data-obkms-id=\"11B38CCE-1A7D-49F1-A9C6-B34B99175B68\" data-taxon-parsed-name=\"Pseudococcus\"><span class=\"genus\">Pseudococcus<\/span><\/span><\/i>&nbsp;Westwood (1 species).&nbsp;<i><span class=\"tn\" data-obkms-id=\"B70EB638-C5ED-48CB-AD51-DB4BDE9389F7\" data-taxon-parsed-name=\"Chorizococcus ozeri\"><span class=\"genus\">Chorizococcus<\/span>&nbsp;<span class=\"species\">ozeri<\/span><\/span><\/i>&nbsp;Zarkani &amp; Kaydan,&nbsp;<b>sp. nov.<\/b>&nbsp;is new to science, whilst&nbsp;<i><span class=\"tn\" data-obkms-id=\"A6D6C6E1-3F15-43DE-BCF9-18049B4B8E97\" data-taxon-parsed-name=\"Planococcus bagmaticus\"><span class=\"genus\">Planococcus<\/span>&nbsp;<span class=\"species\">bagmaticus<\/span><\/span><\/i>&nbsp;Williams represents the first record in Indonesia. In addition, the mealybugs&nbsp;<i><span class=\"tn\" data-obkms-id=\"6A169560-0C9B-4CDB-8C6A-C5A30AD65022\" data-taxon-parsed-name=\"Dysmicoccus lepelleyi\"><span class=\"genus\">Dysmicoccus<\/span>&nbsp;<span class=\"species\">lepelleyi<\/span><\/span><\/i>&nbsp;(Betrem),&nbsp;<i><span class=\"tn\" data-obkms-id=\"7C8A4ABC-E01D-42A4-BC62-22156D5AC10F\" data-taxon-parsed-name=\"Dysmicoccus zeynepae\"><span class=\"genus\">Dysmicoccus<\/span>&nbsp;<span class=\"species\">zeynepae<\/span><\/span><\/i>&nbsp;Zarkani &amp; Kaydan,&nbsp;<i><span class=\"tn\" data-obkms-id=\"42C8EDAD-3946-41BC-8F23-68FDDA23D37B\" data-taxon-parsed-name=\"Ferrisia dasylirii\"><span class=\"genus\">Ferrisia<\/span>&nbsp;<span class=\"species\">dasylirii<\/span><\/span><\/i>&nbsp;(Cockerell),&nbsp;<i><span class=\"tn\" data-obkms-id=\"2976A5A7-0D14-420D-B881-5E9741A19E72\" data-taxon-parsed-name=\"Planococcus lilacinus\"><span class=\"genus\">Planococcus<\/span>&nbsp;<span class=\"species\">lilacinus<\/span><\/span><\/i>&nbsp;(Cockerell) and&nbsp;<i><span class=\"tn\" data-obkms-id=\"7678290B-657A-4B1A-828F-FEB87E114EDA\" data-taxon-parsed-name=\"Pseudococcus jackbeardsleyi\"><span class=\"genus\">Pseudococcus<\/span>&nbsp;<span class=\"species\">jackbeardsleyi<\/span><\/span><\/i>&nbsp;Gimpel &amp; Miller are newly recorded from plants of the family&nbsp;<span class=\"tn\" data-obkms-id=\"73BA2CFB-E827-4504-A36F-9714BD85DCD2\" data-taxon-parsed-name=\"Loranthaceae\"><span class=\"family\">Loranthaceae<\/span><\/span>.
