Dear esteemed guests, distinguished speakers, and dedicated colleagues,
I am pleased to welcome you to the International Seminar on Promoting Local Resources hosted by the Faculty of Agriculture in 2024. The seminar aimed to build worldwide networking among scientists and serve as an effective tool for sharing knowledge and ideas to address agricultural development problems. The theme for the 4th Iseprolocal is “Synergy to Strengthen National Food Security.” We gather here today not just as individuals from various corners of the globe but as a collective of minds united by a common goal: the sustainable development of agriculture through the promotion of local resources.
The challenges we face in agriculture are numerous and complex, from climate change to food security. Yet, within these challenges lie opportunities to innovate, adapt, and grow. This seminar is a platform to share knowledge, exchange ideas, and forge partnerships to help us turn these opportunities into realities.
As we embark on this journey over the next few days, I encourage you to engage fully, question deeply, and collaborate openly. Let us use this time to build a network that transcends borders and creates solutions that benefit our local communities and the world.
