The success of the conservation of the Lemau River Basin cannot be separated from the motivation, perception and participation of the community around the<\/em> <\/em>Protected Forest <\/em>A<\/em>rea <\/em>of Bukit Daun <\/em>under the management of the Ketahun Watershed and Protection Forest Management Center. This is closely related to meeting the daily needs of people from the Protected Forest <\/em>A<\/em>rea and its surroundings. The objectives of the research <\/em>were<\/em>: 1. To examine the perception, motivation and participation of the community towards the conservation efforts of the Protect<\/em>ed<\/em> Forest <\/em>of Bukit Daun <\/em>in Central Bengkulu Regency. 2. Analyzing the factors that influence the perception, motivation and participation of the community around the Protect<\/em>ed<\/em> Forest <\/em>of Bukit Daun <\/em>towards the conservation efforts being carried out. 3. Analyzing the perception, motivation and participation of the community around the Protect<\/em>ed<\/em> Forest<\/em> of Bukit Daun <\/em> in conservation efforts related to knowledge, socio-economic conditions, biophysical conditions and applicable stakeholder policies. Data was collected by means of questionnaires, interviews, observation and documentation. This research <\/em>wa<\/em>s expected to provide information and data regarding the perceptions, motivations and participation of the community in an effort to increase the success of conservation in the Protect<\/em>ed<\/em> Forest area<\/em> of Bukit Daun<\/em>, so that it <\/em>could<\/em> be taken into consideration in efforts to manage, develop, protect and develop the forest area under the guidance of the Ketahun Watershed and Protection Forest Management Center.
