TroBiCA is a research group, which is part of Division of Ecology and Conservation, Department of Forestry, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Bengkulu. TroBiCA envisions to become an impactful institution in the conservation and sustainable management of tropical biodiversity and agroecosystems. Our goal is to advance knowledge, foster innovation, and implement practices that ensure the resilience, health and conservation of tropical ecosystems.
Our missions are:
- Advancing fundamental research on tropical biodiversity and interdisciplinary research on tropical conservation and agroecosystem.
- Promoting educational outreach and capacity building.
- Fostering community engagement and partnerships.
To achieve the goals of our missions, we conduct several activities, including research, community engagement, seminar/webinar, training, workshop and thematic schools. We are collaborating with many people and institutions.
