SmartPLS (Partial Least Squares – Structural Equation Modeling) has emerged as a robust analytical tool widely adopted in the social sciences, economics, and environmental studies. Within forestry research, its methodological strength lies in modeling complex causal relationships—ranging from the institutional dynamics of social forestry and community livelihood practices, to the sustainability of agroforestry systems and socio-ecological interactions.

Through this session, participants will gain a theoretical understanding of SmartPLS and practical insights into its research applications, thereby equipping students, scholars, and practitioners with advanced competencies in contemporary quantitative methodologies.

This academic forum is open to students, reearchers, faculty members, and the broader scientific community committed to advancing interdisciplinary forestry research.
