The curriculum is a set of plans and arrangements regarding objectives, content, and learning materials, as well as methods used as guidelines for implementing learning activities to achieve the goals of Higher Education. The curriculum for the Environmental Science Study Program, Forestry Department, Faculty of Agriculture, Bengkulu University (FP UNIB) contains learning outcomes referring to Minister of Education and Culture Regulation No. 3 of 2020 concerning National Higher Education Standards (SN-Dikti) and a description of level 6 (six) of the Indonesian National Qualifications Framework (KKNI) in accordance with Presidential Decree Number 8 of 2012. The curriculum is structured in a structured manner to achieve goals, carry out missions, and realize the scientific vision of the Undergraduate Studies in Environmental Science program. The Indonesian National Qualifications Framework (KKNI) is an appropriate reference for formulating standardization of expected learning outcomes in the Environmental Science Undergraduate Study Program. Curriculum development is carried out based on a systematic, coherent, and comprehensive approach. The curriculum for the Bachelor of Environmental Science Study Program, Department of Forestry, FP UNIB, is designed to be more oriented towards scientific learning and research.

The Environmental Science Study Program curriculum contains courses that support the achievement of competencies for graduates of the Undergraduate study program and will give students the freedom to broaden their horizons and deepen their skills according to their interests. Each course is equipped with a course description, syllabus, semester learning plan (RPS), and evaluation. The curriculum has been designed based on its relevance to the objectives, scope of learning, depth of material, and organizational aspects that encourage the formation of knowledge and behavior (soft skills) and personality skills (hard skills) that can be applied in various situations and conditions.

This curriculum was built based on the Indonesian National Qualifications Framework (KKNI) level 6. This level means that graduates of this study program: a). Able to apply and utilize science and technology in fields related to environmental science in solving problems and being able to adapt to the situations faced; b). Master theoretical concepts in general and specific theoretical concepts in the field of knowledge related to environmental science in depth, and be able to formulate solutions to problems related to environmental science; c). Able to make the right decisions based on information and data analysis, and able to guide in selecting various alternative solutions independently and in groups; and D). Responsible for one’s work and can be given responsibility for achieving the organization’s work results.

Aspects that will be discussed in the instrument for fulfilling the minimum requirements for accreditation for the Environmental Science Study Program include 1) the uniqueness and excellence of the study program, 2) graduate profile, 3) learning outcomes; 4) courses, learning materials, research; 5) research focus; and 6) semester learning plans (RPS) for 10 subjects in the Environmental Science Study Program. Details of the aspects will be explained in detail in each table below.
