Inauguration of the HIMAPSIL FP KBM UNIB Management

Bengkulu – The Management of the Environmental Science Study Program Student Association (HIMAPSIL) of the Forestry Department of the Faculty of Agriculture was officially inaugurated on Friday (11/7). The event held at the Faculty of Agriculture’s Dean’s Building was attended by the Vice Dean for Student Affairs, Alumni, and Cooperation Dr. Hesti Pujiwati, S.P, M.Si., Head of the Forestry Department Dr. Gunggung Senoaji, S.Hut, MP,. Head of the Environmental Science Study Program Prof. Dr. Ir. Wiryono, M.Sc., HIMAPSIL Advisor Maria Paulina, SP, M.Si., Mela Faradika, S.Si, M,Si., New lecturers of the environmental science study program and heads of student institutions within the Faculty of Agriculture.

In her remarks, Dr. Hesti emphasized the importance of student development through organizational activities. She also advised that organizational activities must be balanced with academic responsibilities. “Leadership developed within organizations is expected to bring benefits in the academic, social, and community fields, and must result in timely completion of studies with good quality.”

Head of Forestry Department Dr. Gunggung also expressed his hopes to the first HIMAPSIL management “We hope that with the inauguration of this first management, it is hoped that it can become the foundation and driving force for the progress of HIMAPSIL”. The inauguration was carried out with a symbolic handover of the HIMAPSIL flag by Prof. Wiryono as Head of the Environmental Science Study Program to Sigit Adhi Purnama as General Chair of HIMAPSIL. With a new spirit, it is hoped that the UNIB Faculty of Agriculture student organization will be able to produce a superior generation of achievers.
