
Application of Local Material Preservation Technology and Nutrition Improvement of Shredded Jackfruit Fish at KPPL Sejahtera and Sumber Jaya Rejang Lebong in Sumber Bening Village
Community Service of the Department of Agricultural Technology, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Bengkulu was held on Saturday, September 21, 2024 in Sumber Bening Village, Selupu Rejang District, Rejang Lebong Regency, Bengkulu Province. Community service activities on local material preservation technology and nutritional improvement of shredded jackfruit fish were chaired by Selly Ratna Sari, S.Pi., M.Si. with team members, namely Dra. Devi Silsia, M.Si and Ir. Hidayat Koto, M.Sc. with community service participants who are members of the Forest Conservation Women’s Cooperative or KPPL Sejahtera and KPPL Sumber Jaya.
The presentation of the service material was delivered by Selly Ratna Sari, S.Pi., M.Si. In addition to providing knowledge and information about local material preservation technology and improving the nutrition of fish jackfruit shreds, it was also conveyed how to make and practice making fish jackfruit shreds.
