
Entrepreneurship Grant for the Department of Agricultural Technology Improves the Entrepreneurial Spirit of Students of the Department of Agricultural Technology, University of Bengkulu
The Entrepreneurship Grant is a program of the Department of Agricultural Technology, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Bengkulu in creating business activities. In its implementation, this activity is a routine agenda carried out by HIMATIN or the Agricultural Industrial Technology Student Association of the University of Bengkulu. In the Entrepreneurship Grant, a team of students practiced making creativity of business products needed by the community (market). Through the Entrepreneurship Grant, students have a wide opportunity to improve their competence in creating and innovating to create new products, as well as increase their insight and experience in entrepreneurship.
In the implementation of the activity, the collection of business proposals was carried out from September 28 to October 25, 2024 with the number of incoming proposals, namely 9 business proposals. On Monday, October 28, 2024, an assessment of business proposals was carried out by an assessment team from the Department of Agricultural Technology. The results of the assessment were announced on October 28, 2024 with the results of 5 business proposal teams that are worthy of being given business and making business presentations. On Wednesday, October 30, 2024, a business presentation was held from 5 business proposal teams.
From the results of the business presentation assessment, the results of the Entrepreneurship Grant Business Proposal Champion were obtained, namely:
1st PLACE

With the title of the business: Coffee Ready to Drink COLOWCAF (Coffee Low Caffeine)
2ND PLACE
Jupiter Pero Meza, Cyintia Renjani, and Bari Eka Prama Setia
With the Business Title: SAMOSA KU: Products with the Utilization of Horticultural Materials and Chicken Curry
3RD PLACE
Dinda Novita Sari, Annisa Fadillah, and Muhammad Ripaldo Aldion
With the Business Title: Cakies: Kalamansi Orange Peel Flour (Citrus x Microcarpa) into Processed Cookes

The submission of grants, award certificates, and entrepreneurship proposal champion certificates was held on Wednesday, November 6, 2024 in the seminar room of the Department of Agricultural Technology. The 5 best entrepreneurship grant teams received a grant of Rp. 1,500,000 as a business development fund. The Entrepreneurship Grant activities that have been carried out help students in developing interest in entrepreneurship.
