Salak Transformation into a Leading Snack in Increasing Product Innovation in Banyumas Village, North Bengkulu

In Banyumas Village, Kerkap District, North Bengkulu Regency, Bengkulu Province on Saturday, May 10, 2025, a community service activity was held about the transformation of salak into a superior snack. The target of this community service activity is the Banyumas village community who have salak products and gardens.

This Community Service was carried out by Selly Ratna Sari, S.Pi., M.Si. as the chairman and Ir. Laili Susanti, M.Si. and Dra. Devi Silsia, M.Si. as members. In its implementation, several examples of the transformation of salak into processed products were presented by Selly Ratna Sari, S.Pi., M.Si While explaining the steps to make processed salak snack products such as salak chips, in the activity also distributed brochures about the process of making processed snacks which are expected to help the community to understand the process of making salak snacks.
