Training on Making Liquid Organic Fertilizer from Banana Peel Waste in Banyumas Village, Kerkap District, North Bengkulu

On Saturday, May 10, 2025, a community service was held about making liquid organic fertilizer from banana peel waste. This activity was carried out in Banyumas Village, Kerkap District, North Bengkulu Regency, Bengkulu Province. This activity was chaired by Sri Wulandari, S.TP., M.Sc. with team members, namely Fitri Yuwita S, S.TP, MP. and Ir. Hidayat Koto, M.Sc. This community service activity was attended by village officials and Banyumas residents.

In its implementation, Sri Wulandari, S.TP., M.Sc delivered material on the benefits of banana peels, the advantages of liquid organic fertilizers, and steps to make liquid organic fertilizer made from banana peels as a simple and easy to apply industrial waste utilization by the community. At the end of the presentation of the material, a practice was carried out on how to make organic fertilizer from banana peel waste. In the practice session, participants were directed by Fitri Yuwita S, S.TP, MP. and Ir. Hidayat Koto, M.Sc. 2 representatives of participants participated directly in the manufacturing practice carried out.
