Spreading Goodness in the Holy Month, HIMATIN UNIB Distributes Iftar Food to the Community

The Agricultural Industrial Technology Student Association (HIMATIN) of the University of Bengkulu once again showed its concern for the community through a social activity entitled “HIMATIN SHARING” which was held on Saturday, March 14, 2026. This activity was carried out around the University of Bengkulu area by distributing food to people in need, especially for those who carried out fasting.

This sharing program is a tangible form of students’ social concern for the surrounding environment. Through this activity, HIMATIN members together with students of the Agricultural Industrial Technology Study Program as well as support from seniors and alumni participated in collecting and distributing assistance in the form of food for breaking the fast.

The distribution of food is carried out directly to the community around the University of Bengkulu area, such as daily workers, motorists, and residents in need. With this food assistance, it is hoped that it can help them to break their fast, recover their energy after a day of activities, and keep their enthusiasm for worship and work. In addition to being a form of social concern, the HIMATIN Sharing activity is also a forum for students to learn about human values, empathy, and gratitude. Through this activity, students are invited to be more sensitive to the social conditions around them and understand the importance of helping each other.

The participation of alumni in this activity is also proof of the strong solidarity of the Agricultural Industrial Technology family. The support from the seniors provides additional enthusiasm for students involved in the implementation of activities, as well as strengthening intergenerational relationships in the HIMATIN.

With the implementation of this activity, HIMATIN is committed to continuing to present various positive programs that provide benefits to the community. Not only in the academic field and scientific development, but also in social activities that are able to foster a spirit of concern and social responsibility of students.

Through sharing activities in the month of Ramadan, it is hoped that all parties involved can further increase their gratitude for the blessings they have and foster the spirit of sharing with others. This spirit of togetherness and concern is expected to continue to be maintained and become an inspiration for other students to contribute to social activities that are beneficial to the wider community.
