Big Family of Agricultural Technology Department Holds Healthy Walk at Long Beach Bengkulu

In order to strengthen the relationship and build togetherness, the Big Family of the Department of Agricultural Technology, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Bengkulu held a Healthy Walk activity on Sunday, December 7, 2025. This activity took place in the White Sand area of Long Beach Bengkulu, starting at 06.00 WIB until it was finished.

The activity was attended by lecturers and their families, staff of the Agricultural Industrial Technology Study Program and their families, and laboratory staff of the Department of Agricultural Technology. Also present were two retired lecturers, namely Dr. Ir. Budiyanto, M.Sc. and family and Ir. Lukman Hidayat, M.P. and family, which added to the warm and family atmosphere.

The healthy walk starts from the Pasir Putih area with a route along the Panjang Beach line until it reaches the corner point of the pedestrian path near the beach. Participants enjoy the fresh morning air and calm sea views, making the activity even more fun and healthy. After reaching the end point of the route, the activity continued with breakfast together. Various menus are served, ranging from nasi liwet, nasi kuning, lontong, stir-fried noodles, gudeg, to modern dishes such as onigiri, gimbap mix, risol mayo, and somay. Traditional dishes such as spice lupis also complemented the togetherness of the morning.

The event was then closed with a group photo session, as a form of documentation as well as a symbol of cohesiveness and harmony of the academic community of the Department of Agricultural Technology. Through this activity, it is hoped that the relationship between lecturers, staff, and the extended family of the Department of Agricultural Technology will be closer and more solid, so that it can support a positive and collaborative work atmosphere in the future.
