DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURAL TECHNOLOGY TOGETHER WITH BANK BTPN HOLDS FINANCIAL LITERACY TRAINING FOR STUDENTS OF AGROINDUSTRIAL TECHNOLOGY STUDY PROGRAM UNIB

Tuesday, November 29, 2022 a Financial Literacy Training activity was held for students of the Department of Agricultural Technology, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Bengkulu in Room 4 of the Joint Lecture Building I. This activity was attended by students of the Agroindustrial Technology Study Program from various batches. Financial Literacy Training is an activity of the Department of Agricultural Technology in collaboration with Bank BTPN.

The activity began with remarks from the chief executive of the activity, namely Ulfah Anis, STP, M.Sc. and was opened directly by the Head of the Department of Agricultural Technology, Drs. Syafnil, M.Sc. The training activity with the theme “Student Financial Literacy Education as an Effort to Realize Future Financial Prosperity” presents extraordinary speakers who are experienced from the financial sector, namely Pasmai Denda, S.TP., AWP as the Founder of CV. MAGO PRIMA PERKASA, UMKM Mentor, and Financial Planner.

The financial literacy training begins with distributing questions to the trainees so they can see the extent of their current financial knowledge. Furthermore, financial literacy material was directly delivered by the presenter, Pasmai Denda, S.TP., AWP. The material presented made the participants focus on participating in the activity, especially the speaker who connected the material with his experience in fostering UMKM in the Bengkulu area. The enthusiasm of the participants was very large, marked by many students asking the presenters.
