Devin Januar Saputra, a Student Majoring in Agricultural Technology, Won 2nd Place in the 2025 ADHYAKSA CUP Pencak Silat Championship in North Bengkulu

Students of the Agricultural Technology Study Program, Department of Agricultural Technology, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Bengkulu have again made proud achievements in the non-academic field. Devin Januar Saputra, a student of the class of 2023, won 2nd place in the 2025 Pencak Silat Adhyaksa Cup Championship in North Bengkulu organized by the North Bengkulu District Attorney’s Office.

The championship took place on December 17-20, 2025 in North Bengkulu Regency and was attended by around 250 participants from various regions and provinces in the Sumatra region. This event is one of the prestigious pencak silat competitions at the regional level that brings together the best athletes from various universities and institutions.

The 2025 Pencak Silat Adhyaksa Cup Championship is part of a series of commemorations of Adhyaksa Day, which not only focuses on the role of the prosecutor’s office in law enforcement, but also on its contribution to human resource development, character development, and strengthening the value of sportsmanship and discipline among the younger generation.

Devin Januar Saputra’s achievements reflect the balance between academic achievement and the development of students’ interests and talents outside the classroom. This success also shows the support of the academic environment of the University of Bengkulu in encouraging students to excel in various fields, both academic and non-academic.

This achievement is expected to be a motivation for other students of the Department of Agricultural Technology to continue to develop their potential, uphold the spirit of healthy competition, and make the University of Bengkulu proud at the regional and national levels.
