
Entrepreneurship Training and Product Creation Training to Develop the Entrepreneurship Spirit of Students of the Agricultural Industrial Technology Study Program, University of Bengkulu
On Saturday, September 28, 2024, entrepreneurship training and product creation training were held for students of the Agricultural Industrial Technology Study Program, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Bengkulu. This activity was carried out by HIMATIN (Agricultural Industrial Technology Student Association), Agricultural Industrial Technology Study Program, Department of Agricultural Technology, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Bengkulu and assisted by ID Home. The activity was held at 13.00 WIB in room 2 of the Joint Lecture Building or GKB I University of Bengkulu and was attended by 44 students of the Department of Agricultural Technology as participants.
At the opening activity, several remarks were delivered, namely by Agil Pratama as the chairman of the training committee, Eriyansyah Saputra as the Chairman of HIMATIN, Fitri Yuwita S, S.T.P., MP. as the Supervisor of HIMATIN, and Drs. Syafnil, M.Si. as the Head of the Department of Agricultural Technology, in addition to that, the Deputy for Student Affairs, Dr. Hesti Pujiwati, SP., M.Si. was also present to give remarks and greet all participants as well as officially open the activity.
The activity continued with the implementation of training. The first training, namely entrepreneurship training, was delivered by the resource person Adi Sucipto, Lc., MM. as the Owner of Baba Ahmed Arabian Food and President Director of Babatour Bengkulu. The material presented about motivation and planning to start a business provides insight and understanding of the world of entrepreneurship to all participants, including the spirit conveyed through the speaker’s experience stories who have started a successful business until now and even have to go back and forth abroad and visit several countries. After the material session was delivered, the activity continued with discussion and question and answer. The entrepreneurship training activity was completed with the submission of certificates and photos together with speakers or resource persons.
The second training activity, namely product creation training, was delivered by the resource person Ika Gusriani, S.T.P., MP. as a lecturer at the Department of Agricultural Technology, University of Bengkulu. The material presented was about making innovative and creative processed agricultural products so that they can present quality products so that they can be competitive with other existing products. In addition to conveying about product manufacturing, it was also conveyed about the focus and scientific field in the Department of Agricultural Technology which strongly supports students in creating a product. After the presentation of the material, a discussion and question and answer were held. The product creation training activity was closed with the submission of certificates and photos together with speakers or resource persons along with all activity participants.
