Farewell Retirement Ir. Lukman Hidayat, M.P., Lecturer of the Department of Agricultural Technology, University of Bengkulu
The Department of Agricultural Technology, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Bengkulu held a retirement farewell ceremony for one of its best lecturers, Ir. Lukman Hidayat, M.P., on Tuesday, August 26, 2025. The activity, which took place in the Meeting Room of the Department of Agricultural Technology, started at 10.00 to 13.00 WIB and was attended by all lecturers, staff, laboratory staff, and student representatives.
The event was warm with a series of activities that began with the delivery of impressions and messages from representatives of departments, lecturers, and retired lecturers. On this occasion, various stories of Ir. Lukman Hidayat’s journey and dedication while serving in the Department of Agricultural Technology were also shared, presenting an atmosphere full of gratitude and appreciation. As a form of appreciation, the department and lecturers handed over mementos to him. The activity was then closed with a group photo session and a luncheon, which became a symbol of togetherness and respect for the dedication that has been given.
In his remarks, the Head of the Department of Agricultural Technology, Drs. Syafnil, M.Si., expressing his gratitude and highest appreciation. “On behalf of all academics of the Agricultural Industrial Technology Study Program, Department of Agricultural Technology, we would like to thank Mr. Ir. Lukman Hidayat, M.P., and apologize if there are mistakes or shortcomings during our togetherness. His dedication and example will always be an important part of the journey of this major,” he said. Meanwhile, in his message, Ir. Lukman Hidayat said that retirement is not the end of service. “Retirement does not mean stopping working. Hopefully I can still provide benefits and be an inspiration to the people around,” he said.
This farewell ceremony is a precious moment that not only marks the end of a lecturer’s service period, but also strengthens the legacy of values, dedication, and spirit of work that will continue to be remembered by the big family of the Department of Agricultural Technology of the University of Bengkulu.
