GOOD LABORATORY PRACTICE ACTIVITIES FOR STUDENTS WHO WILL CONDUCT RESEARCH IN AGRICULTURAL TECHNOLOGY LABORATORIES

GLP or “Good Laboratory Practice” is a way of organizing laboratories in the process of carrying out tests, facilities, labor and conditions that can ensure that tests can be carried out, monitored, recorded and reported according to national/international standards and meet safety and health requirements. The application of GLP aims to ensure that the test results data produced have taken into account proper planning and implementation, good sampling practices, good analytical practices, good measurement practices, good practice of documenting test results/data, and good practice of maintaining accommodation. and a good work environment. Thus, testing laboratories that apply GLP can avoid errors or errors that may arise,The importance of implementing and implementing Good Laboratory Practice requires this activity to be carried out every semester.

Bengkulu University Agricultural Technology Laboratory on Sunday, September 4, 2022 held Good Laboratory Practice. This activity was carried out at the Agricultural Technology Laboratory by dividing 4 groups of students who were participants in the activity. The main focus of this activity is the students who will carry out research/testing (final project) at the Agricultural Technology Laboratory.

The final result of this Good Laboratory Practice activity is that students who conduct research or testing can avoid mistakes or errors that may arise, so as to produce precise and accurate data and gain a deeper understanding of the methods and use of tools or materials to be used in the laboratory.
