
Lecturer of the Department of Agricultural Technology, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Bengkulu Attended and Participated in the National Seminar and Meeting of Members of the Agro-Industry Technology Professional Association (APTA), which was organized by the University of Lampung
The Agricultural Industrial Technology study program, University of Bengkulu, represented by Firmansyah, S.T., M.Sc, Ir. Lukman Hidayat, MP, Yessy Rosalina, S.TP., M. Si, Ulfah Anis, S.TP., M.Sc, Ir. Marniza, M.Si. and Arina Fatharani, S.TP., M.Sc attended the 2024 National Seminar on Sustainable Agroindustry with the theme “Accelerating Agroindustry Downstreaming Towards Net Zero Emission 2050” at the Emersia Hotel Bandar Lampung from October 25-27, 2024. In addition to the seminar, the activities of this event are the presentation of scientific papers, meetings of members of the Agroindustry Technology Professional Association (APTA), and Field Trips to the industry.
This activity was carried out by the University of Lampung (UNILA) in collaboration with the Lampung State Polytechnic (POLINELA), the Sumatra Institute of Technology (ITERA), and the Agroindustry Technology Professional Association (APTA). This activity was attended by several universities such as Bina Nusantara University, BRIN, IPB University, Sumatra Institute of Technology, POLINELA, Gadja Mada University, Unila Lampung, Bengkulu University, Brawijaya University, Jember University, Lambung Mangkurat University, UNJA, Padjajaran University, BRIN, PT. Great Giant Foods (GGF), and KBU Group and Agro Investama Group.
The initial activity carried out was a dinner banquet (Ramah Tamah) where invited guests were welcomed by eating together at the Emersia Hotel Restaurant at 19.00 WIB. This activity was carried out to strengthen the bond of brotherhood and familiarity before the day of the seminar was carried out. This activity was carried out with the aim of realizing the processing industry, electricity and gas procurement companies, agricultural/forestry/fishery businesses, transportation, water/waste management, mining/quarrying, and other sectors that produce greenhouse gas emissions in Indonesia.
These issues will be discussed at the National Seminar on Sustainable Agroindustry which is accompanied by related discussion forums:
- Post-harvest, engineering and downstream agroindustry.
- Process technology, process engineering, food safety, and bioprocess technology.
- Agro-industry management, marketing, human resources, supply chain and quality management.
- Agroindustrial system engineering, modeling and artificial cerebrocity.
- Environmental control/management and clean technology.
- Environmentally friendly management of agriculture, forestry, livestock and fisheries.
One of the invited guests, Yulia Astuti from the Secretary General of Agro Industry of the Ministry of Industry, also explained her award at the event and also reported the positive growth of the agro-industrial sector, which reached 4.84 percent in the second quarter of 2024. With this activity, it is hoped that it can increase our awareness of the dangers of greenhouse gas emis.
