Lecturers of the Department of Agricultural Technology Provide Training and Socialization on Processed Product Processing to Product Branding and Digital Marketing Strategies in Banyumas Village, North Bengkulu Regency

On Saturday, May 10, 2025, in Banyumas Village, Kerkap District, North Bengkulu Regency, Bengkulu Province, community service activities were carried out in the form of training and socialization of various processed product processing to product branding and digital marketing strategies. This activity was carried out by lecturers from the Department of Agricultural Technology, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Bengkulu and was attended by the people of Banyumas village.

In this activity, there were 7 topics of training and socialization material presented, namely the transformation of salak into superior snacks, the manufacture of liquid soap from banana peel waste, liquid organic fertilizer from banana peel waste, increasing the competitiveness of processed agricultural MSMEs through branding and digital marketing strategies, product diversification from salak waste, product branding: name, label, and packaging that sells,  as well as increasing the economic value of cassava through processed products.

The activity was opened directly by the Head of Banyumas Village and continued with the delivery of material by lecturers of the Department of Agricultural Technology in turn. Not only delivering material but also doing some practices of making several processed products. This activity was closed with a photo with participants and lecturers of the Department of Agricultural Technology, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Bengkulu and the handing over of a plaque of gratitude to the head of Banyumas Village.
