Public Lecture and Welcoming New Students of the Agricultural Industrial Technology Study Program, Department of Agricultural Technology, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Bengkulu

On Thursday, August 7, 2025, a public lecture and welcoming of new students of the Agricultural Industrial Technology Study Program, Department of Agricultural Technology, was held. The activity was held in room 4 of GKB I University of Bengkulu and was attended by the Head of the Department, lecturers, staff of the Department of Agricultural Technology and students who are members of HIMATIN and attended by 117 new students of the Agricultural Industrial Technology Study Program, Department of Agricultural Technology. This activity is part of the agenda in the introduction of campus life of new students of the Faculty of Agriculture.

At the opening activity, the Head of the Department of Agricultural Technology, Drs. Syafnil, M.Si. was present and gave a speech and greeted all new students. At the opening, the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture and the Vice Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture and his staff came to greet all new students of the Agricultural Industrial Technology Study Program.

After the opening activity, it was continued with material on the introduction of the Department of Agricultural Technology and the introduction of lecturers, staff of the Department of Agricultural Technology and staff of the Agricultural Technology Laboratory delivered by Dr. Devi Silsia, M.Si. as the Secretary of the Department of Agricultural Technology.

The activity continued with the performance of yells displayed by all new student groups as well as the writing of ideals and targets on the Memory Wall banner that had been provided. The best group received prizes from the Department of Agricultural Technology in the form of books by lecturers from the Department of Agricultural Technology. The activity was closed with a group photo between lecturers and activity participants.
