Training on Making Liquid Soap from Banana Peel Waste in Banyumas Village, Kerkap District, North Bengkulu

On Saturday, May 10, 2025, community service activities were carried out in Banyumas Village, Kerkap District, North Bengkulu Regency, Bengkulu Province. This community service activity was attended by villagers and Banyumas village officials. This activity was chaired by Wica Elvina, S.TP., M.Si. with team members namely Ulfah Anis, S.T.P., M.Sc. and Ir. Lukman Hidayat, MP.

The material for making liquid soap from banana peel waste was delivered by Wica Elvina, S.TP., M.Si. In the presentation, the benefits and stages of making it were conveyed simply. In the practice session, representatives of the villagers were asked to participate in the making of liquid soap. The practice of making liquid soap was directed by Ulfah Anis, S.T.P., M.Sc. and Ir. Lukman Hidayat, MP. The training received enthusiasm from villagers who were interested in making liquid soap because of the practical steps that could be applied at home.
