Welcome to the Laboratory of Nematology!
Plant-parasitic nematodes are considerable pests worldwide, and their devastating effects on crops cause economic and social impacts. For this reason, nematodes are very important to study. We focus on identifying plant parasitic nematodes, their biology, and their interactions with plants. We also make permanent preparations and collect specimens for research and database purposes. We aim to understand the interactions between nematodes and plants and develop innovative and environmentally friendly control methods.
