SUBJECT FIELD OF AGRICULTURAL INDUSTRIAL TECHNOLOGY
Courses on agricultural industrial technology that support the field of science include: Physical Properties of Agricultural Products, Techniques and Work Procedures, Factory Layout and Material Handling, Agricultural Products Handling and Transportation System, Operational Research, Plantation Product Technology, Biomass Based Product Development, Quality Control, Decision Making Analysis, Process Engineering, Agricultural Mechanization, Industrial Project Planning and others.
Agricultural industrial technology unib has 23 lectures and 2 administrator.
The agricultural industrial technology Study Program teaches scientific disciplines that focus on the basics of planning, developing, evaluating, and applying production systems such as humans, machines and equipment as well as agricultural resources to achieve optimal efficiency and effectiveness.
Jurnal Agroindustri is a journal (scientific publication) made available by the Department of Agricultural Technology, Faculty of Agricultural, University of Bengkulu. It is jointly published with the Publication Board of Agriculture Faculty (BPFP) and supported by Indonesian Association of Agro-industrial Technologist (APTA). It is dedicated for students, lecturers, and researches to scientifically publish their ideas, results of research, review of literatures of agricultural industry (agroindustry). It is published twice a year; due on May and November; in the form of hardcopy (printed) and softcopy (file on the OJS web).
Since December 2022, Jurnal Agroindustri has been accredited by Director General of Higher Education, Research and Technology of Republic Indonesia No. 225/E/KPT/2022 as SINTA 2.
BACHELOR IN AGRICULTURAL INDUSTRIAL TECHNOLOGY
The Department of Agricultural Technology is one of the departments under the auspices of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Bengkulu which operates based on the Decree of the Director General of DIKTI No. 50 / DIKTI / kep / 2005 dated October 28, 2005.
Currently, the Department of Agricultural Technology is in charge of one Study Program, namely the Agroindustrial Technology Study Program which was established in 1998 based on the decree of the Director General of DIKTI through Decree No. 50 / DIKTI / KEP / 1998 on February 23, 1998.

FEATURED PROGRAMS
The scientific research and development activities of the Agricultural Industry Technology Study Program focus on the utilization of natural resources from Bengkulu Province. Research that has been developed includes: palm oil (biobriquettes, red palm oil, cooking oil, solid soap); rubber (quality management, sewage treatment); coconut (VCO, cooking oil, nata de coco, brown sugar); cocoa and coffee (quality management of chocolate and ground coffee); horticulture (noodles, flour, crackers, tempoyak) fisheries (sea cucumber biopharmaceutical products, fish nungget, chitosan from shrimp shells). Renewable energy (biomass), and biomass product engineering.
SUPPORTING FACILITIES
The implementation of lectures for Agricultural Industry Technology Study Program students is carried out in the Joint Lecture Building managed by the Faculty of Agriculture, while practicum is carried out in the Agricultural Technology Laboratory. This laboratory consists of 6 divisions, namely Systems, Bioindustry, Industrial Chemistry, Machinery and Equipment, Post-Harvest, and Food Engineering and 1 Entrepreneurship room.
The learning process is supported by the Library (University and Faculty). Computer facilities and Free Internet Network for students in several buildings within the University of Bengkulu (including in the TIP Study Program). Increasing knowledge of English can be done through courses at UPT English.
STUDENT ACTIVITIES
Fostering student creativity and talent is carried out through various Student Activity Units (UKM) which have varied activities (reasoning and science, art and culture, sports, spirituality, and community service). In addition, with the existence of an independent campus, students are given the opportunity to attend lectures for 1 semester at other universities. In national & international competitions, TIP Study Program students successfully passed the selection in various activities, including the 8-Field Student Creativity Program (PKM). Holistic Village Development and Empowerment Program (PHP2D), Independent Entrepreneurship Program, KETUPEK Bengkulu, Student Business Innovation Competition, Entrepreneurship Grant, The 1st International Undergraduate Conference on Agriculture &; Life Science, and many more.

The profile possessed by graduates of the Agricultural Industry Technology Study Program is able to systematically solve problems in an agricultural industry system; skilled in finding various alternatives to solve problems with analytical tools in the form of principles, design, evaluation and control; Able to find the best answer with an integrated system approach in the agricultural industry system.
Graduates of the Agricultural Industry Technology Study Program are able to compete nationally in obtaining job opportunities or creating jobs. The employment of graduates of the Agricultural Industry Technology Study Program is related to various aspects related to optimization and efficiency problems through technical and management approaches, such as production planning and management, storage / inventory system optimization, etc. The field of work of graduates includes:
