Making Kombucha from Coffee Skin as an Effort to Increase Immunity in Babakan Bogor Village

In Babakan Bogor Village, Kabawetan District, Kepahiang Regency, Bengkulu Province, on Saturday, May 4, 2024, community service activities were carried out about making kombucha from coffee skins. The target of this community service activity is the residents of Babakan Bogor village who work as coffee farmers with the hope that this activity can be one of the product developments in the village.

This Community Service was carried out by Ir. Marniza, M.Si and Ika Gusriani, S.T.P., MP. In its implementation, the understanding of kombucha and the process of making kombucha from coffee skins was conveyed by Ir. Marniza, M.Si. While explaining the benefits and manufacturing process, Ir. Marniza, M.Si also showed kombucha products that have been completed. In the presentation delivered kombucha has many health benefits such as: as an antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, probiotic, increase immunity, and maintain digestive health.
