STUDY PROGRAMS AND DEPARTMENTS ARE READY TO REALIZE INSTITUTIONAL EXCELLENCE TARGETS

Bengkulu, University of Bengkulu Thursday (06/07/23) a contract was signed for the performance target of the 2023 Plant Protection Study Program (Prodi) with the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Bengkulu.

In the remarks of Prof. Dwi Wahyuni Ganefienti as the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture “The basis for achieving the performance targets is in the Study Program; even though on average our faculty institutions are superior, when viewed per Study Program, not all of them will excel and this requires cooperation and the same understanding so that each Study Program can measure its own targets. With one example, in 2022 faculty performance will be very good, but when broken down per Study Program, none of our Study Programs dominates the highest score per each Main Performance Indicator (IKU) category.

“We are all optimistic that with the spirit of joint work from colleagues from all study programs, the target of this achievement will be better planned and evaluated because the study program has sufficient tools and (HR), but if later a policy is needed across study programs and faculties and universities, we will assist and carry out strategic actions to achieve the common target, “concluded the Dean in his remarks.

As Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs, Resources and Student Affairs, he also expressed his optimism for further performance achievements. “We have mobilized students to be directly involved in creating a Hima/Ormawa work program that realizes these performance targets,” said the Vice Dean for Student Affairs.
