Agroecotechnology Students Win Best Presenter Awards at National Agrotropical Seminar 2026

Bengkulu, April 30, 2026 — Students from the Agroecotechnology Study Program, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Bengkulu, have once again demonstrated outstanding academic achievement by winning Best Presenter Awards at the National Agrotropical Seminar 2026.

The seminar was organized by the Faculty of Agriculture, Mulawarman University, Samarinda, under the theme “Transformation of Technology and Agricultural Innovation for Food Security and Sustainable Agriculture.” This achievement reflects the students’ strong research capacity, confidence, and ability to communicate scientific ideas in a national academic forum.

Four Agroecotechnology Students Recognized

Four students from the Agroecotechnology Study Program received Best Presenter awards in different seminar sessions:

  • Alfa Rabi
    Paper title: “Study of General and Specific Combining Ability of Aluminum Stress Tolerance Traits in Several Red Chili Crosses (Capsicum annuum L.).”
  • Rezan Zalfananta
    Paper title: “Growth and Yield of Red Chili Peppers at Different Concentrations of Sargassum sp. Extract and Humic Acid.”
  • Nadiah Afifah
    Paper title: “The Effect of Liquid Organic Fertilizer (POC) Concentration from Fish Offal on the Growth and Yield of Shallots (Allium cepa var. Aggregatum).”
  • Monika Kartika Sarih
    Paper title: “The Effect of Tofu Liquid Waste POC and Coconut Water Concentration on the Growth and Yield of Shallots (Allium ascalonicum L.).”

Their presentations stood out for their scientific relevance, clarity, and contribution to agricultural innovation.
