Community Service Program (PPM) by the Faculty of Agriculture 2024
The Faculty of Agriculture at The University of Bengkulu remains committed to empowering communities through various service activities. One of the flagship programs in 2024 is titled Introduction and Production of Red Chili in Home Gardens for Household Food Security, conducted in Pasar Pedati Village, Central Bengkulu. This program aims to enhance household food security by utilizing home gardens as productive spaces.
This community service program is led by experienced academics, namely:
- Prof. Dr. Ir. Dwi Wahyuni Ganefianti, M.S
- Prof. Dr. Ir. Reny Herawati, M.P
- Prof. Dr. Ir. Atra Romeida, M.Si
Through this program, the community is provided with education and skills to plant and care for red chili plants using efficient cultivation techniques. This initiative is expected to serve as a sustainable solution to support local food availability and improve family welfare in the village.
