
Guest Lecture on Smart Farming: Insights from Dr. Kyu-Jong Lee
The Agroecotechnology Study Program, The University of Bengkulu, successfully hosted a guest lecture for the Smart Farming course on November 13, 2024. The session, titled “Utilizing Technology in Agriculture: Fundamentals of Smart Farming,” was delivered by Dr. Kyu-Jong Lee from the Korea Research Institute of Bioscience & Biotechnology (KRIBB).
The event was opened by the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Prof. Heri Dwi Putranto, S.Pt., M.Sc., Ph.D., and moderated by Dr. Ir. Usman Siswanto, M.Sc., the course coordinator for Smart Farming. Umi Salamah, S.P., M.Si., served as the MC for the session.
This lecture, attended by faculty members and students, provided valuable insights into the integration of technology in agriculture, emphasizing its role in enhancing sustainability and efficiency.
