Agroecotechnology Study Program of The University of Bengkulu Officially Registered as a Member of the Indonesian Association of Agrotechnology/Agroecotechnology (PAGI)
Surakarta, January 1, 2024 – The Agroecotechnology Study Program of The University of Bengkulu has been officially registered as a member of the Indonesian Association of Agrotechnology/Agroecotechnology (PAGI). This is marked by the issuance of a Membership Card (KTA) with the registration number pagi1123.
The card was issued by PAGI, an organization headquartered at the Faculty of Agriculture, Sebelas Maret University, Surakarta. PAGI aims to develop and advance the field of Agrotechnology in Indonesia through various activities and programs involving academics, practitioners, and other stakeholders.
This membership card is valid until December 31, 2024, and includes several terms for its holder, namely:
- Being an active member of PAGI.
- Complying with PAGI’s Articles of Association (AD) and Bylaws (ART).
- Preventing and not misusing the membership card.
- Reporting to the daily management of PAGI if the membership card is lost.
The Secretary General of PAGI, Prof. Dr. Ir. Hadiwiyono, M.Si, stated that this membership is expected to strengthen the network and collaboration between educational and research institutions in the field of Agrotechnology in Indonesia. “We hope that with the inclusion of the Agrotechnology Study Program of The University of Bengkulu, a stronger synergy will be created in the development of science and technology in the agricultural sector,” he said.
The Agroecotechnology Study Program of The University of Bengkulu welcomes this membership and is ready to actively contribute to various PAGI programs and activities to support the advancement of Agrotechnology in Indonesia.
