Study Program Strategy Formulation

There are 3 targets to be achieved by the FP Unib Agroecotechnology Study Program, namely:
TARGET 1 Produce Bachelor of Agriculture who has high competence in sustainable crop production technology, especially in wet tropical conditions, innovative, productive, professional, has high concern for problems in society, high national spirit, and global perspective.
TARGET 2 Produce science and technology that can solve crop production problems, especially wet tropical climate conditions, which can be disseminated locally, nationally, and internationally.
TARGET 3 Has an extensive network of cooperation at the local, national, and international scope.
To achieve this target, the Agroecotechnology Study Study Program prepares a long-term development strategic plan map whose implementation is divided into 4 periods as presented in Figure 1.

PERIOD I.             Stabilization development foundation (2009)

This period is the first step taken through analysis and diagnosis of strengths, weaknesses, challenges, and threats to produce a solid footing in formulating strategic development policies.

PERIOD II.            Consolidation (2010 – 2014)

This period is used as a period of structuring various aspects that are needed as a first step to gathering the potential of all available resources. To be at the forefront of universities in Sumatra

PERIOD III.          Enhancement (2015-2019)

This period is used as a stage for improving the quality of the resources owned so that they can be in line with leading universities in the national scope

PERIOD IV.          Strengthening (2020-2025)

This period is used as a stage that is focused on strengthening potential resources to be able to compete in the international arena.
