Utilization of Coffee Skin into Cascara Tea by Lecturers of the Department of Agricultural Technology in Babakan Bogor Village

On Saturday, May 4, 2024, community service was carried out on the use of coffee skins into cascara tea. This activity was carried out in Babakan Bogor Village, Kabawetan District, Kepahiang Regency, Bengkulu Province. This activity was chaired by Prof. Dr. Ir. Yuwana, M.Sc. with team members, namely Ulfah Anis, S.T.P., M.Sc. and Drs. Syafnil, M.Si. Community service activities were attended by Babakan Bogor village officials and attended by villagers who mostly work as coffee farmers.

In its implementation, Ulfah Anis, S.T.P., M.Sc. delivered material on the use of coffee skin into cascara tea and the process of making cascara tea simply so that it can be applied in Babakan Bogor village. At the end of the material presentation, cascara tea was shown which was brewed and drunk at noon to the activity participants.
