Bengkulu—April 6, 2026, as part of the Student Organization Capacity Strengthening Program (PPK Ormawa), an internal selection process was conducted at the university level as a preliminary step in determining which proposals were eligible for submission to the next stage. Of the approximately 30 proposals received, 10 passed the internal selection process. One of these was submitted by the Environmental Science Student Association (HIMAPSIL).

This internal selection process was conducted objectively and comprehensively by the University of Bengkulu’s PPK team, taking into account various aspects, such as the quality of program planning, the relevance of activities to community needs, and the readiness of the implementation team. The selection results were officially announced on March 26, 2026, marking the HIMAPSIL team’s success in passing the initial evaluation stage at the university level.

The HIMAPSIL team involved in this activity consisted of 10 students, with 8 members from the Environmental Science Study Program and 2 from the Forestry Study Program, supervised by a young lecturer in the Forestry Department, Ishlahul Fikri, S.Pi, M.Si. This multidisciplinary team composition is expected to provide optimal contributions to the program’s implementation, both in terms of scientific knowledge and implementation in the field.
