Prof. Nanik Setyowati received  AATSEA Award 2025 in Education and Research

Professor Nanik Setyowati, a full-time faculty member in the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Bengkulu, Indonesia, a homebased Professors of PSDIP received international recognition from  Association of Agricultural Technology in Southeast Asia (AATSEA) in the 13th International Conference on Integration of Science and Technology for Sustainable Development in China, hosted by Zhejiang Academy of Agricultural Science (ZAAS, held from 30 October to 1 November 2025.

AATSEA committee awarded Professor Nanik Setyowati in the category of the Education and Research.  Her dedication for more than forty years of tireless service for undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral students, prolific research and publications, international networking in organic agriculture development,  strengthening the link between academic research and field applications. as well as  her unwavering commitment to the advancement of organic agriculture in Indonesia are among the considerations of given award.

During the 13th International Conference on Integration of Science and Technology for Sustainable Development 2025, AATSEA also awarded Prof. Dr. Fu-Cheng Lin (China) in Lifetime Achievement Award, Prof. Dr John Moreki (Boswana) on Lifetime Achievement Award, Mr. Ji-Guo Xing (China) in Policy Making and Governance Award, Ms Bei Zhang (China) in Business and Entrepreneurship Award, Prof. Dr. Ruilin Zhao (China) in Education and Research Award, Prof. Dr. Renato G. Reyes (Philippines) in Education and Research Award, and Mr. Souliya Souvandouane (Lao PDR) in Special Community Service Award.

 

Congratulation to Professor Nanik Setyowati for receiving this prestigious award. Keep inspiring the undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral students, through motivating teaching and dedicated supervision. Keep publishing the scientific publications for bridging theory with practice, particularly in advancing the organic agriculture movement. Her tenacity is truly remarkable, and she has made significant contributions to the advancement of research and higher education, not only within the Faculty of Agriculture at Universitas Bengkulu, but also beyond.
