Guest Lectures for PSDIP students in November 2025

Series of Guest Lectures were attended by PSDIP students during November 2025 to enrich their perspectives in recent development in agricultural sciences  and related issues in sustainable agriculture production. The first guest lecture was of organized by Departemen Ilmu Pertanian Fakultas Pertanian Universtas Brawijaya, discussing and interesting topic for PSDIP students entitled “Panduan Praktis Identifikasi Jurnal Kloning dan Predator”, featuring Professor Hagus Tarno, from Fakultas Pertanian Universtas Brawijaya and Editor Jurnal Agrivita. This online platform lecture was held on November 7^th., 2025. 

The second guest lecture, also called as International Research Talk was offered by LPPM Universitas Bengkulu, held on November 20^th, 2025, presented a topic of “How to build research portfolio and academic networking”. The speaker was Dr.  Chris Thorogood, Assistant Professor of Biology and Deputy Director Botanic Garden, University of Oxford, United Kingdom.  This interesting topic was an offline event conducted at Ruang Pertemuan LPPM UNIB, Gedung B 2^nd floor.   Another online guest lecture was offered by Program Studi Doktor Ilmu Pertanian, Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Padjadjaran, presented Webinar Seri 29 themed “Circular Agriculture System: Regenerasi Kesehatan Tanah, Praktik Ramah Lingkungan, dan Mitigasi Emisi Pertanian”. This seminar was conducted in November 24^th, 2025, featuring a Keynote Speaker of Dr. Ania Citraresmini, S.P., M.P., Lecturer in Departemen Ilmu Tanah dan Sumber Daya Lahan, Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Padjadjaran.

Finally, during the month of November, PSDIP students had wonderful chance to enjoy an online Public Lecture, organized Master of Agroecotechnology Study Program, Faculty of Agriculture University of Bengkulu. This seminar,  held on November 26^th, 2025, featured Dr. Ir. Andi Wijaya Adani, M.Sc.Agr., Lecturer of Faculty of Agriculture Universitas Sriwijaya & as former Director of PDAM Tirta Musi Palembang 2018-2025. His presentation topic focused on “Ilmuwan Pertanian (Agronom) Sukses Mengelola Profesi di Luar Bidang Pertanian”.
