
Training on Making Functional Drinks Made from Tea and Spices in Suban Ayam Village
Community service (PPM) by Lecturers of the Agroecotechnology Study Program with Bengkulu University (UNIB) students was held on May 14, 2022, in Suban Ayam Village, Selupu Rejang District, Rejang Lebong. This service activity has attended 30 participants, including PKK women and farmers. The implementation of PPM is done through socialization and training in manufacturing functional drinks made from tea and spices. Interestingly, the service activities consist of 3 lecturers and one student, Ir. Entang Inoriah, M.P. (Chairman), Dr. Ir. Prasetyo, M.S. (member), Wuri Prameswari, S.P., M.Sc. (member), and Andrian Priambodo (student) presented a topic entitled Utilization of Various Spices as Herbal Drink Products in Suban Ayam Village.
Through PPM activities, it is hoped that it can increase the skills of the community, especially housewives, in processing various spices into functional drinks in the form of tea that can be consumed personally as an alternative to health drinks in maintaining body immunity.
