Congratulations! Agroecotechnology one of the 69 study programs at Unib that has received International Accreditation from ACQUIN

69 study programs at UNIB, including Agroecotechnology, have received international accreditation from ACQUIN.

Dr. Retno Agustina Ekaputri, S.E, M.Sc, the Rector, announced that the accreditation results from the ACQUIN institution have been released, stating that a total of 69 study programs have received international accreditation on Tuesday, June 27, 2023.

Currently, the internationally accredited certificates issued by ACQUIN are certificates for the Faculty of Engineering, which consists of 6 study programs: Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Architecture, and the Informatic System study program.

The results and accreditation certificates for other institutions and study programs will be announced gradually from July to September 2023. The announcement and submission of documents related to the accreditation results will be conducted electronically and will be handed over directly by ACQUIN. The Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemendikbudristek) of the Republic of Indonesia is planned to witness the event.

The Rector called a meeting in his office for Tuesday morning with all Vice-Rectors, Deans, Heads of Bureaus, Heads of Institutions, and Heads of UNIB’s work units. The intention is to quickly inform all UNIB academics who are awaiting the outcomes of the international accreditation process, which was held in November 2022, of this joyful news and momentous occasion.

ACQUIN (The Accreditation, Certification, and Quality Assurance Institute) is an association registered with EQAR (European Quality Assurance Register for Higher Education). EQAR is an internationally recognized accreditation, certification, and quality assurance institution that is acknowledged by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemendikbudristek) of the Republic of Indonesia, as stated in Ministerial Decree No. 83/P/2020 dated January 24, 2020. ACQUIN aims to accredit undergraduate and master’s programs in all disciplines and at all types of universities to ensure high-quality degree programs, create market transparency, enhance the attractiveness of universities for international students, and promote the comparison of academic degrees. ACQUIN’s membership includes more than 150 universities in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, the United States, Liechtenstein, Egypt, Mongolia, and Lebanon.
