Successful! The 2025 Agroecotechnology Freshmen Welcoming Event Filled with Joy and Meaning

Bengkulu, October 11–12, 2025 – The Agroecotechnology Study Program, Department of Crop Production, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Bengkulu, successfully held its annual event, the Agroecotechnology Freshmen Welcoming Program (PMBA) 2025. Organized by the Agroecotechnology Student Association (HIMAGROTEK), the two-day event was filled with enthusiasm, joy, and a strong sense of togetherness.

Building Unity and Integration among New Students

The opening ceremony, held on Saturday, October 11, 2025, was attended by the Vice Dean for Student Affairs, the Secretary of the Department of Crop Production, the Head of the Agroecotechnology Study Program, and the Advisory Board of HIMAGROTEK FP KBM UNIB. In their remarks, the faculty leaders emphasized the importance of PMBA as a platform to foster character development, soft skills, and a spirit of solidarity among students.

Following the opening session, new students participated in self-development activities designed to strengthen confidence, communication skills, and teamwork—essential values that will support their academic and professional journey.

Creativity and Collaboration through the “Vertical Garden of Unity”

On Sunday, October 12, 2025, the second day of PMBA 2025, the excitement continued with the activity “Vertical Garden of Unity.” This collaborative event promoted environmental awareness while symbolizing the unity and cooperation among new students.

The celebration continued with a talent show and art performances, where freshmen showcased their creativity and enthusiasm in a lively and supportive atmosphere. The event concluded with a warm closing ceremony, marking the success of the 2025 Agroecotechnology Freshmen Welcoming Program.

HIMAGROTEK Spirit: One Command, One Family

The organizing committee and all participants of PMBA HIMAGROTEK FP KBM UNIB 2025 deserve high appreciation for their dedication and hard work. The event was not merely a welcoming ceremony but also a meaningful moment to build solidarity, belonging, and family spirit within the Agroecotechnology community at the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Bengkulu.
