Dissertation Writing Workshop
Today, Doctoral Program in Natural Resource Management organized a Dissertation Writing Workshop as part of its commitment to supporting doctoral students in completing their studies on time while producing high-quality academic work.
This workshop was specifically designed to provide participants with in-depth knowledge of the techniques, strategies, and ethics of dissertation writing. The materials covered essential aspects such as structuring research, writing each chapter, managing references, and meeting academic standards in line with scholarly writing guidelines.
The event featured Prof. Dr. Ir. Agus Susatya, M.Sc. and Dr. Sukisno, S.P., M.Si. who are experienced and experts in research methodology and academic writing. They not only delivered theoretical insights but also offered practical guidance through discussions, case studies, and hands-on sessions. This approach allowed students to gain both conceptual understanding and practical skills, fostering greater confidence in developing and writing their dissertations.
Beyond technical skills, the workshop also served as an interactive forum where students could share experiences and strategies in overcoming challenges in the writing process. The supportive academic atmosphere encouraged critical and innovative thinking, ensuring that dissertations produced would not only meet academic requirements but also contribute meaningfully to scientific advancement and sustainable natural resource management.
Through this initiative, the Doctoral Program in Natural Resource Management reaffirmed its commitment to nurturing students to produce research of the highest quality—research that is academically rigorous, socially relevant, and aligned with the vision of sustainable development.
