International Journal Article Writing Workshop
The Doctoral Program in Natural Resource Management organized an International Journal Article Writing Workshop to strengthen the scientific publication skills of doctoral students. This program reflects the commitment of the study program to enhance research visibility and contribute to the global exchange of knowledge.
The workshop was designed to equip participants with essential insights and practical skills in preparing manuscripts for reputable international journals. Topics covered included selecting the right journal, understanding author guidelines, structuring articles effectively, mastering academic writing styles, managing citations and references, and responding to reviewers’ comments.
Experienced lecturers and journal contributors were invited as facilitators to share best practices and first-hand experiences in publishing at the international level. The sessions combined lectures, interactive discussions, and practical exercises, enabling students to apply the knowledge directly to their ongoing research manuscripts.
In addition to technical guidance, the workshop created a collaborative learning environment where participants exchanged perspectives on common challenges, such as language barriers, journal selection strategies, and the peer-review process. This interactive approach not only broadened participants’ understanding but also motivated them to persevere in achieving publication goals.
Through this initiative, the Doctoral Program in Natural Resource Management reaffirmed its mission to cultivate globally competitive researchers capable of producing high-quality scientific publications that contribute to the advancement of knowledge and support sustainable natural resource management practices.
