CURRICULUM
Description
Our curriculum is designed to align the course learning outcomes (CLO) and overall program learning outcomes (PLO) with the standards of outcome-based education (OBE) and the Indonesian National Qualification Framework (KKNI). The content of each course was simplified but more in-depth to allow the students to gain a full understanding of the study material as the basis for holistic problem comprehension and solving, as required in the world of work.
Study plan
The program can be completed in normal study time of 2 years (4 semesters). It comprises 40 credits (equivalent to 66.8 ECTS) at minimum consisting of 32 credits (equivalent to 53.4 ECTS) of lecture and laboratory work and 8 credits (equivalent to13.4) of thesis. The courses are grouped into compulsory courses (30 credits), elective courses (at lest 2 credits), and preparatory ( 0 credit).
The first year of study
Students take preparatory courses and compulsory courses to build the knowledge and skills they need to be competent in the field of agroecotechnology.
The second year of study
Students take the remaining compulsory courses to reinforce the implementation of knowledge and skills they have acquired. A master thesis is also written during the second year based on the reseach topic of interest.
