PSDIP sends Students and Professors to attend International Public Lecture and Workshop
In line with the PSDIP commitment to strengthening the academic atmosphere among academicians, two students and two professors from PSDIP were delegated to attend an International Public Lecture and Workshop, organized by Faculty of Agriculture University Bengkulu on April 23rd, 2026. The representatives were Professor. M. Chozin, Professor Rustikawati, Ms. Irma Lisa Sridanti, and Ms. Elni Muthmainnah.
The international public lecture featured Professor Kasem Soytong, President, Association of Agricultural Technology in Southeast Asia (AATSEA), Professor in King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL), Ladkrabang, Bangkok, and Director Research Institute of Modern Organic Agriculture (RIMOA). Professor Soytong shared his expertise through his presentation entitled “Developing Modern Organic Agriculture Practices and AATSEA Certification Systems”.
This lecture examined the development modern organic farming practices and certification systems in the Southeast Asian region. In addition, PSDIP representatives also participated workshop on “Roadmap to Scopus: International Journal Management and Scopus Indexing Strategy” presented by Dr. Jiaojiao Song. Dr, Song was the Secretary for Association of Agricultural Technology in Southeast Asia (AATSEA) and Associate Editor In-Chief of International Journal of Agricultural Technology (IJAT). This workshop discussed the strategic insights for managing scientific journals towards international indexing, Scopus. PSDIP representatives found these activities were very enlightening and supporting their academic performances as well as the professional development. The presence of Prof. Kasem and Dr. Song not only improved the academic atmosphere among PSDIP academicians, but also strengthened the international academic network of Faculty of Agriculture University of Bengkulu.
