A proud achievement was again made by students of the Department of Agricultural Technology, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Bengkulu. Devin Januar Saputra, a student of the class of 2023, won 1st place in the Adult Class I Fighter category at the 2026 ADHYAKSA CUP III Pencak Silat Championship at the North Bengkulu Regency level.

The championship took place on October 9-11, 2026 at the Syahri Romli Sports Hall, Argamakmur, North Bengkulu Regency. This activity was organized by the North Bengkulu District Attorney’s Office in collaboration with the North Bengkulu Regency Youth and Sports Office.

Carrying the theme “North Bengkulu Prosecutor’s Office Preserves the Culture of Fostering Athletes to Achieve Achievements”, this championship was attended by 290 pencak silat athletes from six schools, namely IKSBI Kera Sakti, Cempedi Bengkulu, Persinaga Bengkulu Utara, Satria Muda Indonesia, PERSINAS ASAD North Bengkulu, and PSHT North Bengkulu.

Devin’s success in winning 1st place is a proud achievement as well as reflecting his fighting spirit, discipline, and hard work in developing his abilities in the field of martial arts. This achievement also shows that students of the Department of Agricultural Technology at the University of Bengkulu are able to develop their potential and compete in non-academic fields.

In addition to being a competition venue, ADHYAKSA CUP III is also a forum to preserve pencak silat as the nation’s cultural heritage. This sport not only teaches martial skills, but also instills the values of sportsmanship, courage, responsibility, and discipline.

The achievements achieved by Devin Januar Saputra are expected to be an inspiration for other students to continue to develop their potential, dare to compete, and achieve achievements in various fields, both academic and non-academic, as well as contribute to making the name of the Department of Agricultural Technology, the Faculty of Agriculture, and the University of Bengkulu proud.
