The learning method implemented at BAH is student-centred learning. It is conducted in the form of: (1) small group discussions implemented most of all courses, (2) the case method implemented in the livestock production system course; 3) Project-Based learning that is generally implemented in the livestock management and business development studies.
The learning process at BAH is conducted through a) onsite and online blended learning; b) Indoor and outdoor practicum (at the Commercial Animal Laboratory Zone); c) seminar; d) fieldwork practice which is conducted at least 14 full-time working days in livestock companies or related agencies; and e) comparative studies to national/international scale livestock companies and Animal Husbandry study programmes on campuses for instance Gadjah Mada University, Diponegoro University, Jenderal Soedirman University, Udayana University, Andalas University, etc.
