
The Forestry Students of FP UNIB Win PPK Ormawa KEMRISTEKDIKTI 2024 Funding
Bengkulu, June 29, 2024 – The Forestry Department of Universitas Bengkulu (UNIB) proudly announces that the Student Association (HIMA) Sylva-PCSI UNIB has successfully secured funding in the Capacity Building Program for Student Organizations (PPK Ormawa) KEMRISTEKDIKTI 2024.
This award was achieved thanks to the project “Assistance for Single Stream Coffee Business and Coffee Husk Briquettes with Omnichannel Marketing in Tebat Pulau Village for the Welfare of Forest Farmers.” The program aims to improve the welfare of forest farmers through marketing innovations and the management of coffee businesses’ by-products.
The project is led by Wahyu Firmansyah as the team leader, with the following team members:

The project supervisor is Hefri Oktoyoki, S.Hut., M.Si., who has directed and guided the team throughout the preparation and implementation process.
The assistance for the single-stream coffee business focuses on improving product quality and utilizing coffee husk waste into briquettes, a renewable and environmentally friendly energy source. Through the omnichannel marketing approach, the team hopes to expand the marketing reach of Tebat Pulau Village coffee products, thereby increasing the income of local forest farmers.
This achievement is a source of pride for the Forestry Department of UNIB. It is expected to inspire other students to continue innovating and contributing to community empowerment and environmental conservation.
