Soil Science Department Engaged Collaboration with Sri Kuncoro

Universities play a very important role in forming and fostering human resources, especially in increasing the ability and capacity of the community in developing agricultural land in Srikuncoro Village, Bengkulu Tengah Regency, Bengkulu Province.

This collaborative activity was initiated by the Soil Science Study Program, at the University of Bengkulu represented by Ir. Herry Gusmara, M.S. and the Head of Srikuncoro Village who was represented by Mr Romadhon. This collaboration will include Research and Service activities carried out by the Soil Science study program, including the manufacture of liquid organic fertilizers and their effectiveness tests, optimization of vermicompost fertilizers, strengthening the creative economy, and the application of rapid soil fertility investigation methods.

The implementation of this activity will be fully funded by the implementation of the PNBP of the Faculty of Agriculture, the University of Bengkulu for the 2022 Fiscal Year.

The signing of this collaboration was held on November 23, 2022, at the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Bengkulu. The event took place solemnly and full of hope so that it could become a sustainable relationship between the University of Bengkulu, especially the Faculty of Agriculture and the people of Srikuncoro Village in developing agriculture in this region.
