A Drop of Water Has Important Meaning for Life
Maybe you often leave out drinking water. Maybe at a party! Maybe even on the go! Maybe even at a meeting! Maybe even at home. Don’t you realize that a drop of discarded drinking water is very valuable? How many people in the world have difficulty getting clean water? How many poor people struggle to get a glass of drinking water?
Let’s try to calculate how much money is wasted if one Indonesian resident leaves one millilier per day. The population of Indonesia in 2023 will be 278,700,000 people. If the average Indonesian population has one ml of drinking water left over per day, then there will be 278,700,000 ml of drinking water remaining or 278,700 liters of drinking water per day. If one liter of drinking water costs Rp. 2,000,-, then the drinking water that is thrown away costs Rp. 557,400,000 per day.
Let’s all start from ourselves, start with a little, from now on pay attention to our drinking water. Let’s not waste even a drop of drinking water.
